Mountain Tea (Sideritis Raeseri) ~ Our Classic mountain tea or Sideritis Raeseri is a full-bodied, flower and leaf tea that originates in Albania’s southern mountains. Its history is long,  having been used to support a healthy lifestyle for thousands of years. It is a delicately sweet tea that grows at an altitude of 1800m. Traditionally used as a remedy for colds and other health issues, this delicious herbal tea is rich in iron and antioxidants. Naturally caffeine free, this herbal tea is a good source of hydration throughout the day. 

Marigold (Calendula officinalis) ~ has been harnessed  for thousands of years for its impressive health benefits. It is one of the earliest cultivated flowers with origins reaching as far back as ancient Egypt. Calendula continued to be an important medicine in ancient Greece and Rome. Early on it was most commonly used as a skin treatment; for minor wounds, insect bites, eczema, itches, and burns. While this ancient medicine might seem old school, it’s still widely used today for both its holistic properties and also its effective applications. Because of its high concentration of flavonoids such as carotene Marigold is praised for its general skin care benefits. The nutrient rich flower boosts topical healing while soothing irritated skin which extends from your skin to your eyes and even works to soothe a sore throat!

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) ~ is a softly scented flower that brings an extra layer of calm to your tea drinking experience. These yellow and white blossoms were grown, hand picked and dried naturally on an organic farm in Croatia. Chamomile is known for its relaxing, soothing qualities and, in combination with classic mountain tea, is the perfect accompaniment to your pre-bedtime relaxation. There’s a reason your mum brewed you a cup of chamomile when you didn’t feel well, this soothing tea calms your nervous system, eases common issues such as allergies and eczema and can help promote a healthy sleep cycle. 

Prepare your tea

Tea is served at its best using a teapot. This allows you to use a greater amount of water which will bring out the entire flavour profile of your tea (it’s also better for our planet to heat your water only once!) 

• For a 1L teapot use the content of the mini box
• For 1 cup of 300 ml  use 1-2  tea stems 
• Pour freshly boiled water (95ºC) over the tea and leave to infuse for 5 minutes
• You don't need to remove the tea, it will sink to the bottom of the cup 
• Tea can be used up to three times in a 12-hour period
• Enjoy it cold during hot summer days, refrigerate it or use ice cubes
